Ever-changing inseparables!
Change their shape and form....but you can never
separate them!
A woman and her daughter
stared at one another
neither could recognize
as with time they changed their
shape and size.
Both had lovely looks
making us wonder
if mother was the daughter
or daughter her mother!
Child in her had a mother within,
mother in her had a childs' wings
they just admired each other
like a bird appreciates its feather.
They lived in your hope
and in the struggle for freedom
survived in every philosophy
and for ages ,ruled our wisdom.
Thousand times they died
when your rights were denied
million times they cried
when you cheated and lied.
Shared your win and defeat
in changing cold and heat
they still are young and wild
as a lovers heartbeat!
They are the thoughts and imaginations
which ruled this earth for generations
through dreams , poems and parables
this mother and daughter will exist
as ever-changing inseparables!
