A journey without a penny,
burying the past,
leaving the present,
towards a future unknown,
I just walked alone.
Leaving friends and relations,
sacrificing love and leisure,
every fun and pleasure,
allowing bygones be bygones,
I just walked alone.
Killed the fear within me,
wiped the tears that fall out,
sharing lonliness with my thoughts,
with none to hear my groan.
I just walked alone.
Leading my shadow,
following my passion,
overcame obstacles and problems,
on my terms and norm,
I just walked alone.

Here, I stand tall and firm,
at the gateway of my achievements,
like a pole fixed to the ground,
on the road of contentment,
with success as my clone,
as I walked alone.
They now call me,
Lady luck's favourite boy,
some say destiny's toy,
few name me as a self -made man,
others, simply brain and brawn.
Wagging  tongue and tails,
let them wonder and bite nails,
let them say , what they want,
I will not stop, I just can't.
I know it any way,
at night or in day,
road to success,
is a bed of colorful roses,
one who knows to walk alone,
will certainly , pluck it from the thorns!
