THIS TOO WILL PASS.
Let me thank the almighty,
For two things in life.
Time-the best healer.
Death – the best leveler.
A mighty king Vasavaraj on the horse of pride announced in his kingdom that any one who can give me a gift which I cannot buy, or make and I have not seen it will be given half of my kingdom.
Many came from his kingdom and nearby countries but none could give the king a gift which he could not buy or make and not seen. Finally an old fakir once passed through the kingdom and on hearing it went to the king and gave the king a taviz and told Vasavraj “You will open it only the day you feel there is no way out; in those days of despair otherwise the gift in this taviz will disappear.
The king tied the taviz on his right arm and forgot about it. Days passed.
A messenger came running to the king in his chamber at midnight and told the king that the minister and the commander killed the Queen and the prince and they are about to come here.
The king in his nightgown galloped into the jungle from the backyard with out a single soldier to accompany into the deep forest after some time the horse died in the mid forest. Vasavaraj walked through the forest tired, depressed…
He saw a Lion chasing him and he ran and saw a banyan tree and hid himself in the tree hole. Lion paws could not reach inside and it waited outside the hole for its prey.
Vasavaraj fall asleep in that tree hole, and recollected the beautiful past and suddenly fall asleep. In his dream he heard the fakir’s voice. He suddenly woke up from the sleep removed the Taviz and found a note inside which read “THIS TIME WILL ALSO PASS”.
This is what life is made up of Uncertainty. Today’s strangers are tomorrow’s greatest friends and today’s greatest friends are tomorrow’s greatest enemies. Some times we feel what we are destined to do is already decided before our birth and the next moment we feel we are capable to change the course of time, history and the world. This makes me think that it’s the state of mind that we actually decide whether the world is for us or we are for the world. One who stuck to their decisions under whatever conditions have achieved what they wanted in one field but they have lost many a things in this battle of life. Rightly said, in this battle of uncertainty we win and loose or rather exchange the goods of happiness and sorrow from our near and dear ones and with every transaction we feel we have achieved more perfection, more happiness and after some time the same happiness is our biggest sorrow. All those who achieved power through force Alexander or Hitler had in mind to capture power but they lost the happiness of living happily married, which a common man achieved. You live in this society and have to give something to the society but in the end give the share from your time, money, and energy. It is not only a social point for me but also a personal front in which we exchange loyalty to friendship, anger to frustration, success to happiness, failure to sorrows, This market of barter system is life for me. Nothing comes free and has a price tag attached to it, whether social, emotional or creative.
