Reality, illusions, imaginations, perceptions,
Dreams and interpretations,
Is all a game of mind?
Man fights situations and the result is
Other situation to fight
Life they say comes in packets. Packets of joy, sorrow, hope despair rather packets of opposite emotion in different sizes, shapes and texture and these packets are the days
Which we open up and to some extent is related to the previous days. So, these packets are connected to each other with a chain called sleep.
This packet of life consist all the reasons for our various emotion but what we are searching for is the packet called happiness. Just like a small child is interested in the cherry kept over an ice cream. But, man do not want to understand is that true happiness lies not in collecting but distributing away the very self for the cause of the world which gives the utmost satisfaction. This satisfaction is the ultimate happiness, the very packet which man is searching in this world. So the only way to reach this packet is to destroy the self. This has been continuous opinion of all the great people from Christ to Buddha to Gandhi. Emperor Ashoka did not become famous with the battle of kalinga, but after the battle, he won everything that is materialistic but lost his own self to spiritualism.
A boy of marriageable age fall in love with a girl and decided that when he settles down in life with his career he will marry this girl, but, as fate has it the girl married someone else. The boy could not bear this pain and decided to commit suicide. He was lonely and lost hope in life. He felt miserable and his agony struck him and he had a nervous breakdown. His parents, friends, relatives and all his near and dear ones were worried about him and they took him to a psychiatrist. He was treated for five long years and finally discharged from the hospital. He was being led outside the hospital gate when a car parked in front of the gate and a person with mental instability was admitted in to the hospital by his relatives. His father saw the man and told his son “Do you know who that man is?” and then he continued, “He is the same man who married that girl”.
To be happy and contended in life is most difficult and we have a very fluctuating mind and it’s faster than the wind. Life is a balance act of mans will and fate. His will and his fate carry him some times in opposite direction, and at times in the same direction, but it no way guarantees him peace because
For a man it’s like handling two women called materialism and spiritualism at the same time. His body needs materialistic approach and soul needs spiritual line of thinking. Thus for peace man has to work on both in one life span Because, by nature, man is not an animal who like other beings work on instinct. He dreams, desires and develops his rational thinking and behavior into reality for his materialistic or bodily needs but he is actually trying to get his soul satisfied with this material begged, borrowed, stolen or earned. It’s like drinking soup to quench thirst instead of water.
